A research page for the Imperial Japanese Navy's Type Zero Carrier Fighter

Welcome! The Japanese Zero was the Imperial Japanese Navy's premier fighter in the early stages of World War II. The Zero is currently one of the most photographed, documented, and researched aircraft in Japan's WWII arsenal. It is also an airplane that has been inaccurately detailed in research articles through the years. Efforts are being made to help clarify and correct the research. This page deals more with the unusual and lesser-known versions.
